REALTOR OF THE YEAR
Our 2023 REALTOR® of the Year is a member of the Association who exemplifies the performance standards set by our Code of Ethics, is heavily involved in local, state and national association activities, and is committed to community and business affairs.
This year our REALTOR® of the Year is someone who has been an active member of our Association, donating time to numerous committees, attending conferences and embodying the REALTOR® spirit.
She attends NCMAR events like the NCMAR Nights Out, Lunch and Learns, Membership Meetings, Real Estate Summit and Business Partner Expo. A member of the NCMAR Board of Directors, our REALTOR of the Year currently serves on the Finance Committee, Community Involvement Committee, Membership and Events Committee and Government Affairs Committee.
She also served as the emcee of the recent Real Estate Summit in collaboration with the North Central MA Chamber of Commerce.
At the state level her participation includes being a member of the MAR Board of Directors, Leadership Academy and LEAD Training Program. In addition, she attends REALTOR Day on the Hill, Central Region Caucuses and MAR Conferences. She chairs the MAR Gratitude Committee.
At the National level she attends all the NAR Conferences, Legislative Meetings and served on the Delegate Body.
In her spare time, she serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity and is the Chairperson of the Family Selection committee. She is an ambassador for the North Central MA Chamber of Commerce, Volunteer for United Way Day of Caring and volunteers for numerous events in her local communities.
She is a member of the Honor Society, has earned the GRI, CRS AHWD an d SFR designation. She has also earned the ePro and C2EX certifications.

BUSINESS PARTNER OF THE YEAR
The selection of Our Business Partner of the Year was difficult due to the caliber of nominees. This year’s award recipient has been an active Business Partner of the Association for several years. Our award recipient has been a generous sponsor of events, serves on committees, attends NCMAR Nights Out and membership meetings. This Business Partner served on the Member and Events Committee and teaches numerous continuing education classes and Lunch and Learns for NCMAR. She participates in the Adopt a Family program, Meat Raffle Fundraiser, Bowling Fundraiser, Habitat for Humanity Builds, Business Partner Expo and much more.
In the community, she is a supporter of Habitat for Humanity serving as the clerk on the Executive Board. She also is the Financial Family Advocate and member of the Family Selection Committee.
The 2023 Business Partner of the Year is a helpful, compassionate and knowledgeable member willing to assist everyone she meets.
We am pleased to announce the 2023 Business Partner of the Year is Lynn Devin of Cross Country Mortgage.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Our 2023 Rookie of the Year joined the NCMAR in October of 2022. She has attended the New Member Orientation, and taken a six continuing education classes.
Not only has she focused on educational accomplishments, she joined the Member Services and Events Committee and is a very active participant in networking events.
She contributed a raffle basket and participated in our Bowling event. She is an active agent for Foster-Healey Real Estate.
Good Neighbor Awards
Our Good Neighbor Awards recognize the ongoing efforts of individual REALTORS making exceptional contributions to improving the quality of life in their communities.
The North Central Massachusetts Association of REALTORS is proud of the many members who contribute their time and talents to area charities.
The 2023 Recipients of the Good Neighbor Award are:
Liza Hurlbert Melo of Four Columns Realty is a very active member of the North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce. For the past three years she has devoted many hours to assisting the goals of the chamber in her community. Liza thank you for all you do!
Alyssa Durkin of Total Mortgage is one of the most active volunteers for NCMAR community projects. She has assisted with the food drives, school supply drives, meat raffle fundraisers, super raffle fundraisers, corn hole tournament, bowling event fundraiser and blood drive. Without her assistance, we would not be so successful in our endeavors. Alyssa thank you for all your help.
Anita Reiser of Keller Williams Realty North Central. Annie has been a contributor and volunteer for the Start Above Initiative through Rise Above. Annie assists in giving a unique housing opportunity to young adults who have grown up in foster care. Because these young adults have not had a lot of personal material things or spaces, Start Above assists them in obtaining furniture and necessary household items for their first apartment. Annie helps to make their new space, their home. Thank you Annie.

April organized a non profit, called Project Purse. April gathered well over 100 purses each year and fills them with toiletries and personal items to assist women in need. Twelve local agencies assisted in filling the donated purses. In addition to this endeavor, April has volunteered for Habitat Builds, United Day of Caring, Templeton Food Pantry and assisted Wreaths Across America. Thank you April for all you do.
Nick Pelletier of Keller Williams Realty North Central
For the past 7 years, Nick has focused on helping Rise Above strive to grow through the development of a strategic plan, increased revenue and implementation of organizational and financial policies. Start Above has assisted 1,900 children in foster care. He has personally contributed over $15,000 and helped to raise over $120,000. Nick created a Pelletier Properties initiative called Start Above under the Rise Above umbrella to help young adults aging out of foster care furnish their first apartment. Thank you Nick for all you do.

Rising Star Award Recipients
The Rising Star award recognizes outstanding committee involvement, production and proficiency as a REALTOR with more than 18 months as an association member. The Rising Stars exemplify professionalism and engagement to NCMAR’s commitment to excellence.
Our first recipient is Brooke Boucher of Lamacchia Realty.
Since joining the association in 2016, Brooke became involved right away. She serves on Community Involvement Committee. Membership and Events Committee and Strategic Planning. She has helped with Habitat Women Builds, Clean up Day on Rollstone Hill, School supplies drive, Food drive and Meat Raffle.
Brooke attends our membership banquets and NCMAR Nights Out. She also serves as NCMAR’s Ambassador to Lamacchia Realty.

Our second Rising Star is Dylan Maclean of Foster-Healey Real Estate. Dylan began his REALTOR career in 2018 and became involved right from the beginning. Dylan assisted with planting trees at the Fitchburg Dog Park, attended many NCMAR Nights Out, Lunch and Learns, Continuing Education classes, Member Meetings and Community Involvement projects.
Dylan is a member of the Membership and Events Committee and earned the Rookie of the Year award in 2019.
